  • New security procedures in place at North
    During school hours, all North Elementary visitors will now need to push a button on a new call box to request entry to the school. Office staff will view video of the entrance and speak to the visitor before opening the door.  Visitors will then proceed to the office to check in. The safety of your students is very important to us and we are happy to add this additional level of security. Please call or email us with any questions or concerns.

    Parents are needed to join PAC and help North reach more goals. Join us at 6 p.m., the first Thursday of each month during the school year in the North Library.

  • Parent observers needed for annual all-school drill

    27J parents and guardians are encouraged to serve as observers in the district's fifth annual All-School Drill at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28. 27J has conducted the drill for the past five years in conjunction with recognizing October as Safe Schools Month in Colorado. This year's drill will involve school safety teams participating in tabletop exercises to simulate an actual emergency scenario. Interested parent can contact their child's school to sign up to observe.

  • Parents encouraged to take SAAC Survey

    All 27J parents are encouraged to participate in the Student Achievement Advisory Council (SAAC) Parent Survey. Please click HERE to access the survey. Responses will be used in program improvement planning for the benefit of School District 27J students and families.
    In accordance with state and federal laws and regulations, SAAC was established in order to: ensure all children a free appropriate public education (FAPE); ensure student safety and well-being; provide an effective partnership of parents and educators; ensure the legal rights of students, and ensure a voice for all parents, the school administration and this Council.
