  • Parents, are you wondering what the difference is between enrollment and registration? Parents take the New Student Enrollment packet to their school(s) to have their child entered as a student of that school.  Enrollment can take place any time during regular school office hours. Registration is for students who currently attend SD27J or have already completed the enrollment process.  Please do not plan to enroll your child during your school’s scheduled registration times. Please feel free to email if you have any questions.

  •    The School District 27J District Committee needs your help. This committee serves as an advisory board to the 27J Board of Education.  The 27J Accountability Committee is composed of parents, citizens and staff who are interested in the school system and making improvements in education.
    The committee provides input to schools in their improvement planning process through the Unified Improvement Plans. This process includes building understanding about the plan, presentations from principals and site visits to the schools. The committee also reviews charter school applications and renewals, provides big picture perspectives on the budget and other special projects.
       The first meeting of the 2014-2015 school year will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Sept. 15, 2014, at the District Training Room, 80 S. 8th Ave., Brighton. Dinner is provided.
