    Application Criteria: 

    1. Teacher must have a full-time teaching contract for the current year in the 27J Schools. 

    2. Teacher must have a minimum of two years teaching experience with 27J Schools. 

    3. Courses eligible for this scholarship must be from an accredited college/university and the course must have been taken for credit. Applicant must be issued a grade of “C” or better. This grant does not include consideration of seminars, conferences or workshops.

    4. Teacher must plan to continue as a teacher with 27J Schools for at least another year.

    Termination will result in forfeiture of the awarded scholarship. 

    Application Procedures: 

    Complete all required documentation and submit this form. All applications (and documentation) must be submitted at the same time. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

    A selection committee appointed by the 27J Education Foundation will determine Scholarship awardees. Successful applicants will be notified of their award by the Foundation Treasurer.

    The recipient will be reimbursed for the cost of the course(s) taken (up to $500) upon receipt of proof of paid and completed course with a grade of “C” or better. Proof must be received within 60 days of completion of the course.
