Hello everyone! This is my third year teaching at Brantner Elementary, but my 8th year teaching overall. I am so excited to be a Brantner Bengal!

I am a Colorado native, and I absolutely love our beautiful state! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and two Master’s degrees (in Instructional Technology and Gifted & Talented) from Regis University. I am most assuredly a life-long learner, and I strive to pass on my love of learning to my students. I believe profoundly in the power of education, and understand the importance of a good education in a student’s life. I hold my students to high expectations, and strive to push them to do their best every day.

I love cats (Crazy Cat Lady alert – I have three!), tea, and seafood. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening, and exploring this stunning state we live in! I am passionate about nature, animals, and science, and my favorite parts of teaching always revolve around teaching STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) skills to my students, and helping them develop a natural curiosity about this incredible world we live in. I love this profession – I learn something new every day! I’m excited and honored to be entrusted with your students!
