Moving to the Denver area and beginning employment with SD27J in 2019 are two of the best decisions I have ever made. The families, students, and staff at Brantner are the absolute greatest!  

Originally from Texas, I am proud to say that I am an alumna of the University of Houston. I began my teaching career in 2001. I have taught third grade for 13 years and fourth grade for seven years.  

My immediate family includes my extremely energetic husband and my two equally energetic puppies. We love going on adventures to the parks and trails. You can often find me geocaching. If you’ve never heard of geocaching, just ask me and I’ll tell you all about it. I also enjoy traveling, taking photos, reading, watching documentaries, and listening to music.

My ultimate goal is to have a classroom where all of my students feel safe, welcomed, and valued. I thank you for putting your trust in me and I look forward to working together.
