Hi Everyone!

My name is Kim Szymanski and I am so excited to be your student's second-grade teacher for this school year! 

This will be my fourteenth year teaching with 27J and my fourth year at Brantner. During my teaching career, I have taught second grade, third grade, and fifth grade. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences with emphasis in Elementary Education from Metro State University in 2008. In 2016,  I obtained a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Development with emphasis in Adolescent Literacy and Teacher Leadership from CU Denver. 

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family traveling and enjoying our beautiful state doing anything outdoors! I love skiing, hiking, biking, and rock climbing!
