• 2020 Yearbook Pick Up Information

Dear Brighton High School Students and Families,

We are excited to finally share the 2020 Reflections Yearbook with you, “Look Closely, the feeling will come and you’ll know it.” The members of the yearbook staff continued to work during quarantine and remote learning to finish this yearbook for the school. As you can imagine, the way in which we distribute the yearbook from school this year will need to look different than in years past.  Please read the details below carefully as we want to ensure a process that will include safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

Students, parents, or guardians can ensure they’re prepared for distribution in the following ways:

    • Make sure that you did indeed purchase a yearbook. You can check this by:
      • Seeing if you have a receipt from Herff Jones when you purchased it online.
      • Looking in IC  if you bought it at the school to see if it is reflected on your student fees.
      • Emailing adviser Justin Daigle at jdaigle@sd27j.net if you have no receipt of any kind to check that you have purchased a yearbook.
    • We do have a few extra copies of the yearbook for sale.
      • You can purchase them the day of distribution until we sell out with CASH ONLY AND EXACT CHANGE OF $70. Checks and credit cards will not be accepted and we will not have change to give.
    • To prepare to arrive at the school to pick up your yearbook
      • Write your name on a piece of paper that is taped on the passenger side windshield so our runners can call out your name to check off our list to give you your yearbook.

    • Helpers will have masks and gloves
    • Please adhere to the layout of signs and the directions of staff and helpers.

Before writing or making any marks inside or outside your yearbook, check the book. Make sure

there are no smears, tears, or any damage to the book. Once the book is marked, it cannot be returned. If you find any issues, please contact yearbook adviser, Mr. Daigle, immediately.

Any mistakes, misspellings, etc.? We sincerely apologize if you come upon any of these as you enjoy the book. This is a student publication and we basically are publishing our “homework” or what would be a “final essay” for class. Believe us, we’ve already seen the issue, and are even more upset about it than you. Unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do about them at this point. Your feedback is what helps us continue to make our yearbook great, but please refrain from inappropriate or rude comments either online or in discussions.

Thank you for purchasing your copy of the 2020 yearbook, the 74th edition from BHS Reflections. We thank you for your support, and we hope this book provides you some closure to our school year.
