Hi Polar Bears!  My name is Joy Casey and I am the instructional coach.  I am beginning my 16th year in 27J where I started my career as a 7th grade math teacher at Prairie View High School.  Since then I have taught math in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade and later worked as a math instructional coach for the district.  I have spent my last three years working at Prairie View Middle School as their instructional coach.  I am super excited to be joining the Padilla Elementary team and to learn and grow with the staff, students, and community! 

 

On a personal level, I am a dog lover and have three Great Danes! My husband (see how he came second :) ) and I love traveling internationally and glamping locally in our travel trailer. We are looking forward to spending summer in our beautiful state and traveling to the Christmas Markets in Germany this winter.
