Important Update

The Nutrition Services department is excited to confirm that School District 27J Schools are participating in the Healthy School Meals for All program starting with SY 23-24!  Approved by Colorado voters, the new program enables districts to offer free meals to all students.

Important Information for Families

Just like in previous years, families should continue to provide their household income information by completing the Free and Reduced Benefits Application. While meals will be provided for free to all 27J Schools students through Healthy School Meals for All, it's important for us to continue gathering this information for the district in order to receive full access to available federal funding.

By completing the application, you will be supporting our district in accessing additional federal funds that will go directly to our schools to help cover the cost of meals, as well as after-school programs,  educational programs for students and classroom funding. Plus, families who qualify may receive discounted school fees, class materials, bus passes, utilities support and more!

Please try to have your application completed before October 1st, 2023 to receive help with your Fall 2023 school fees.  The application will be available online and in paper form by the 3rd week of July.  Set a reminder and put it in your calendar!

Family Information is Always Confidential

All household income information provided is strictly confidential and protected by law. Only one form is required for all children in the household. Immigration, citizenship or refugee status is not required when completing the form.

SUMMER 2023 - Free Summer Meals Program

From May 30 to July 28, 27J Nutrition Services will be serving FREE summer meals for kids and teens age 18 and under.

Here's what you need to know:

• Breakfast served from 8-9 AM
• Lunch served from 11 AM to 12:30 PM
• Service Locations: Northeast Elementary, Henderson Elementary and South Elementary in Brighton
• Adult meals are $4 for breakfast and $5 for lunch
