Project Scope
Construction project scope at Northeast Elementary School:
- Four new classroom addition of 6,330-square-feet.
- New media hub.
- New entry vestibule.
- Entry security enhancement.
- New computer lab with 30 stations.
- New family restroom near gymnasium.
- New PA system.
- New LED lights throughout building.
- New interior ceilings throughout school.
- New carpet and paint throughout school.
- Replace gym roof top unit and add cooling and controls for HVAC.
- HVAC upgrades in the media hub.
- Removal of existing movable partitions in classrooms.
- Power/data upgrade in existing classrooms.
- Upgraded door hardware.
- Install a backup generator.
- New restroom in significant needs area.
Northeast Elementary School site work:
- New student bus drop-off entry.
- Larger parking lot with more parking spaces. A total of 68 spaces to be created.
- Denver Broncos donated artificial turf field to be installed outside the school.
- Outdoor learning space to be created. This space will be shared by the schools.
- Pathway from Overland Trail Middle School to Northeast Elementary School.
