Assistant Principal

This is my 16th year in education with experience teaching Language Arts in 6th-12th grade, a year as a teacher librarian, and a few years as the school's instructional coach and IB-MYP Coordinator. As the Assistant Principal, I love being able to work with all of the staff and students, working together to help make OTMS the greatest middle school possible. I love reading, working out, food, being outdoors, God, and my family.

Linda has been in education for over 14 years. She worked in elementary school as a classroom teacher, as a middle school (6th grade) science and social studies teacher, and as a middle school (6th-8th grade) technology instructor. She has also been the Gifted and Talented Coordinator, English Language Development Coordinator, Professional Development Coach, and the Director of Technology Integration. She serves as a facilitator and trainer for Code.org and their Discoveries program, is on the board of directors for Innovative Education Colorado, and was the first ISTE certified teacher in the state.

Linda has a passion for partnering and working with teachers to help them discover and develop new ways to incorporate technology for the benefit of the students. She will be supporting Overland Trail Middle School as a Digital Learning Coach.
