Education Foundation Scholarships available for eligible seniors
The 27J Education Foundation is now accepting applications from graduating 27J seniors for three scholarship opportunities.
Applications for the following scholarships are due no later than 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
27J Education Foundation Student Scholarships
Fifteen, $2,000, one-time scholarships to deserving 27J seniors.
Frank J. Lucero Memorial Scholarship
This annual, one-time, $2,000 scholarship was created in memory of longtime Colorado educator Frank J. Lucero in honor of a career dedicated to serving others because of his abiding love for students, encouraging them, and creating opportunities for them to achieve their dreams.
Adams County Opportunity Scholarship
Through a partnership with Adams County and the Colorado Department of Higher Education, the 27J Education Foundation annually administers the awarding of renewable, three-year scholarships to deserving 27J seniors based on established academic, financial and personal criteria.
A total of fifteen scholarships will be awarded. Each renewable scholarship has the opportunity for students to receive $6,427.30 per year and a total of $19,281.93 over three years if they attend a Colorado public university, college, community college or vocational school and maintain additional scholarship requirements.
