District policies regarding immigration executive orders

District policies regarding immigration executive orders

Dear 27J Staff and Families,

We understand there are a number of new presidential executive orders that impact our schools and the people within them. We review each new order with staff and our legal counsel so we appropriately respond to very fluid scenarios and the associated logistics.

While the orders bring new direction, we are gratified we have existing policies and practices to help protect and safeguard our students at school. Below are the specific policies related to the immigration executive orders.

Our principals and office staff are clear about their roles in implementing these policies. As a school district, we are committed to student safety and well-being which are at the core of what we do every day. We will continue to give our best efforts to take care of every student every day.

Please take a moment to review the district policies that apply to our schools’ operations.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership with 27J Schools.
