Student, parent Culture and Climate Survey window open through Oct. 23

It's time for the fall Culture and Climate survey and 27J is seeking input from both students and parents.

Parent Survey

The fall parent culture and climate survey opened Monday, Sept. 28 and will remain open through Friday, Oct. 23.

Take The Survey

Parent feedback helps us celebrate what is working well and identify opportunities for growth so we can better meet the needs of our students and families. We are committed to building strong, meaningful partnerships with families and recognize the important role these partnerships play in student success.

If you have more than one child enrolled in 27J Schools, parents are encouraged to complete a separate survey for each child. This allows the district to better understand and respond to each child’s unique experience.

Student Survey

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 29, students in all grade levels will participate in the district’s Climate and Culture Survey. This survey provides important, updated feedback from students across the district.

The survey will be administered during the school day within a three-week window ending October 23. The survey schedule is designed to minimize disruption to instructional time.

Elementary students will complete the survey in their homeroom classes, guided by their classroom teacher. At the secondary level, students will take the survey during their advisory class. Survey questions are available to review by grade level.

Student responses are a critical component of the district’s efforts to monitor and improve school climate and culture. Climate and Culture is an important measurement of overall school and district performance, as reported through our 27J Performance Dashboard.

Results from the survey will be incorporated into both school and district performance dashboards and will be used to celebrate what’s working well and to find areas where we can grow, helping us create a more positive and supportive school environment for students.

Counselors will also use the information to provide the right support for students’ needs and to promote their overall well-being.
