Superintendent welcomes back students, families for 2025-2026 school year

Welcome back or welcome to 27J Schools. I want to share my gratitude and excitement with you. Each new year brings fresh opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and take steps toward their future, and none of it would be possible without your support as a community.

Our mission, “In partnership with families and our community, 27J Schools empowers every student today to take control of their future tomorrow” is more than a statement on paper. It is the heartbeat of our work. Whether you are a parent, guardian, business owner, volunteer, or neighbor, you are part of this mission. Your encouragement, your engagement, and your belief in our students fuel the progress we see every day.

We will welcome more than 24,000 students this year into classrooms filled with promise and unlimited potential. Our educators, support staff, and leaders are ready to meet that moment, but we know it takes all of us. Together, we create an environment where every child has the tools and opportunities to succeed.
