Student Scholarships

Through our partnership with Adams County and the Colorado Department of Higher Education, the 27J Education Foundation annually administers the awarding of renewable, three-year scholarships to deserving 27J seniors based on established academic, financial and personal criteria.

The 27J Education Foundation annually awards fifteen, $2,000 one-time scholarships to deserving 27J seniors.

This annual, one-time, $2,000 scholarship was created in memory of longtime Colorado educator Frank J. Lucero in honor of a career dedicated to serving others because of his abiding love for students, encouraging them, and creating opportunities for them to achieve their dreams. This annual, one-time, $2,000 scholarship is in partnership with the Northglenn-Thornton Rotary Club.  The Rotary Club honors Service above Self.
