Post Secondary Transitions
27J Schools is committed to providing students with disabilities the skills and opportunities to achieve their goals for higher education & training, employment, independent living and community participation. This planning and instruction begins during the student’s eighth-grade year.
The 27J Transition Learning Center is designed to provide instruction and services to students with disabilities ages 18-21 who require additional skill development related to the Post School Outcomes documented in their IEP. Students will be exited and receive their high school diploma when they have achieved their post-school IEP goals or at the end of the semester in which they turn 21.
