Ms. Ria Woodruff

I relocated to Colorado in 2014 from Illinois. I graduated from Salem Community High School in Salem, Illinois in 1987. I was a three sport athlete and earned the Outstanding Female Athlete Award my Senior Year. I earned an athletic scholarship to play basketball at Kaskaskia College in Centralia, Illinois.  In 1989, I transferred to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. In 1991, I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Education (Physical Education). In the fall of 1991, I began a Masters Degree program at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri with concentration in School Counseling.  Also, at Lindenwood I was a graduate assistant for the Women's Basketball Team.  I have 26 years teaching experience at all grade levels. In addition to teaching, I have many years experience coaching basketball, softball, golf, and tennis.  I am a Masters Fitness Specialist certified by The Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas.  I worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at Joliet Junior College for 9 years in their fitness center.  My hobbies include playing golf, exercising, spending time with my family, friends, and dog, watching movies, and studying metaphysics.
