¡Hola y mucho gusto!

My name is Roman Castorena or Señor C. I was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, México and move to the Colorado in 1998. I graduated from Greeley Central High school and got my teaching degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I have been a teacher for 8 years. I am very exited to be working with all the amazing students and staff members at Prairie View High School. 

Me llamo Román Castorena-Hernandez o Señor C. Yo naci en México en Ciudad Juarez antes de que mi familia y yo nos mudamos a Colorado en 1998. Me gradué de la preparatoria Greeley Central y seguí con mi educaión asistiendo la Universidad de Colorado de Norte. Me gradue de la universidad en diciembre 2012. He sido profesor/maestro por 8 años. Estoy muy emocionado para trabajar con los increíbles estudiantes y empleados aquí en la Preparatoria de Prairie View.

Quizlet: This is the perfect website for students to use to study outside of school. This website contains flashcards of the vocab that students will learn throughout the school year.

About me:

I've been with my beautiful wife for 11 years.

I have a beautiful daughter. She pretty much runs our house.

I have completed 2 triathlons. Let's not talk about my finish times.

Running is my favorite activity.

My favorite sport is football, Go Broncos!!!

My favorite animals are turtles.

I love fruit! Watermelon, honeydewmelon, apples, oranges, pears, you name it, I'll eat it!

I enjoy playing videogames.

I used to not like or listened to any music until I was 10 years old.

My first concert was a Metallica concert at the Pepsi Center.

I almost drowned twice when I was little, once at Elitches and the other at Water World.

I've won 5 prizes from the claw machines at Wal-Mart and 3 from King Soopers.

My favorite T.V show is South Park.
