I am originally from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, but I have been a resident of Colorado since 2000. I have a bachelor's in English and I am planning on going for my master's within the next couple of years.  Teaching English is my passion; I am a proud Shakespeare "nerd" and my favorite books are 1984 and The Shining.  I believe that students come first.  It is my job to do everything in my power to make sure that each student feels safe and respected in my classroom.  My main focus as an English teacher is to help each student develop confidence in their own independent voice.  

All of my assignments will be posted in Google Classroom.  I will give out Google Classroom codes in class.

My office hours are 11:46 - 12:11, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Please try to make an appointment beforehand (by email or in person) if you need extended tutoring.  Walk-ins are fine, especially for quick questions or concerns.
