Hi! My name is Cindy Janeway. I have been an educator since 1997 and have taught all subjects, 4th through 8th grade, minus three years I spent staying home with my children when they were babies. I grew up in Virginia but moved to Arizona after graduating from college in Tennessee. I taught in Arizona for many years before moving to the great state of Colorado in 2012. This will be my sixth year at Second Creek Elementary and every day is a great day to be a Bison! I have two amazing, energetic boys that are now in 3rd and 7th grades. We love to travel, hike and really enjoy attending sporting events. We have turned into huge Colorado sports' fans and enjoy going to cheer on the Nuggets, Broncos and Rockies! I am also very enthusiastic about students' learning and love bringing my fun energy to the classroom. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year of growth with my 5th graders.

What is your favorite college/sports team? CU Buffs

What is your favorite color(s)? Red and purple, black is pretty awesome too.
