I became a Special Ed teacher in 2011 while still living in Chicago ,IL. I moved out to Colorado to be near my mother, sister, and niece. I’m very happy to be here;it’s a great place that has a lot to offer. I’ve been lucky to get some experience working in Adams12 and at Tennyson Center for Children in Denver. I’m thrilled to now be working in 27J where my mom and I both live within the district boundaries. Once my daughter starts school, she will be going to 27J schools and I’m happy to be able to be close to her as well. I enjoy cooking, reading, and being outdoors (especially in the mountains.) I was able to explore some parts of Colorado over this past summer like Durango, Mesa Verde, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. I enjoy exploring new places and experiencing new things. I look forward to learning more about becoming a strong teacher and growing in my career here at Prairie View Middle School. Thank you everyone for giving me a warm welcome.
