Ms. Caley Gallison

I am originally from Portland, Oregon and have a newfound love for Colorado sunshine. I have taught experiential science outside in Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon, Minnesota, Idaho, California, Eastern Africa and Colorado. As you can tell, I love travelling and nature and enjoy finding ways to make learning relevant to our lives outside of school. I received my Bachelor's in Biology and Education from Colorado College and realized that I loved Colorado and wanted to live here.

In my free time, you'll find me adventuring outdoors - skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, camping - I enjoy it all! I have always loved science and math because these two subjects help fuel my curiosity and allow me to better understand the world. My goal as a teacher is to help my students develop the confidence to take risks in math and science, instead of constantly being afraid of challenges and failure. I focus on educating the whole student and have a strong focus on developing students as individuals both inside and outside of school. My utmost desire as a teacher is to inspire my students to be passionate critical thinkers who constantly question the world around them and are positive change-makers in the world. I am excited to share my passion for science and math with you and help every Quist student identify as a mathematician and scientist.
