Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Charlotte Young-Krupla

Growing up in a household of teachers, I always knew I wanted to teach. I attended Indiana State University where I graduated with an elementary education and music education degree. During my second year of teaching I meet a student who changed my professional path. I saw the need to return to college at the graduate level and add an endorsement of Learning Disabilities to my license. Since receiving my additional licensure, I have taught only Special Education. There is nothing as exciting as seeing a student who struggled with a skill become more confident and master that skill.

Over the years, I have been honored to work with students who have inspired me to continue on my current career path. The ability to work with a student who has yet to master a skill, who becomes a student who has mastered the skill, and being able to see the joy that they have at their success is my reward and passion. Over the years, I have watched many students grow and become more confident. They are my inspiration.
