    Ms. Rachel Bruening
    Special Education Learning Leader

Ms. Bruening is excited to start her second year as a Raven. She will be teaching Significant Support Needs. In her first year at RRHS, the high light for her was helping her students create and run the school coffee cart, The Raven's Roast. This became very popular school wide and helped spread the message of inclusion throughout the school community.
Ms. Bruening completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Northern Colorado in Special Education(K-12). She then completed her Master's degree in Autism at Grand Canyon University. In December 2018, she completed her Post Masters certificate program in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She is working on completing all requirements to obtain her BCBA. Ms. Bruening will be starting her 6th year teaching special education in the fall of 2019.
When Ms. Bruening is not teaching, you can find her working in the restaurant at her families golf course, attending sporting events, walking her puppy, baking, and going to concerts.
