I am super excited to have the opportunity to teach Physical Education everyday at South Elementary! I learned the importance of staying active at a very young age through sports and various activities.

 

I graduated from Chadron State in Nebraska with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science and have my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I ran track at Chadron State and continue to stay active in my older years. :)

 

I have been teaching at South Elementary for 10 years and taught 4 years previously at Dupont Elementary in Commerce City. I absolutely love working with all the grade levels and getting to know each and every student at South Elementary! I love to teach students the importance of physical activity and how they can enjoy lifelong movement.

 

I am lucky to call Colorado home! When I am not teaching, I love to be outdoors doing anything from swimming, to skiing, to hiking. I also love to spend time with my husband and 2 children. We are always on the go! I am excited for another great year at South Elementary!
