I was born in Littleton and raised in Colorado all of my life. I went to CU Boulder for my undergraduate in Psychology and graduated with my Master's in Elementary Education at MSU Denver. Most of my family is from Louisiana and I'm a die-hard Saints fan. I will never pass up a chance for a crawfish boil or a bite of king cake, either. I'm a second-year teacher and have loved everything STEM for as far back as I can remember, although I'm most passionate for physics, biology, and astronomy. This is my first year in 27J and I have had such a great reception that it feels like I've always been here! Some of my favorite hobbies include video games (mostly League of Legends), fish tanks, and space/astronomy. My wife and I have been married a little over a year but have been together nearly 7 years. We don't have any kids yet but we have two cats named Olive and Pepper that we treat as if they were our children. Over the summer I enjoy working with my friend's tree trimming business, cat/dogsitting, fixing up my house/yard, and traveling the world whenever we manage to save enough money.
