Mrs. Abrahamson earned a BA in Broadcast Communications and a BA in Psychology from the Metropolitan State College  - Denver.  She later earned an MA in Education Administration from the University of Phoenix.  She has been teaching since 1992.   She  also taught first, fourth, and sixth grades, but claims kindergarten is her passion. Her family lives in Thornton.  She has two sons, ages 25 and 23. Her interests include:  Scrabble, Survivor, bike riding, yard work, DIY projects, traveling, and fostering kittens for the Adams County Animal Shelter. This will be her eighth year at  Brantner.
