Mr. Philip M. Bandoch
Mr. Bandoch’s teaching career began in his hometown of Wausau, Wisconsin. He began teaching in 2006 after graduating from St. Norbert College with a B.A. in History and obtaining a Broad Field Social Studies Teaching Certification. While in Wisconsin, Mr. Bandoch had the opportunity to teach U.S. History, AP U.S. History, World History, Psychology and Politics. Along with teaching, he also coached football and track and field at the varsity level. In the spring of 2009, Mr. Bandoch earned his M.S. in Applied Leadership for Teaching and Learning from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. For his thesis, he created a standards-based activity booklet for students to complete when they visited the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame. After relocating to Colorado in 2011, Mr. Bandoch joined Vikan Middle School. During his time there, he has taught 6th grade social studies and coached several sports including football and track and field. At the start of the spring semester, in 2015, Mr. Bandoch became a "bulldog" at Brighton High School and currently teaches U.S. History and AP U.S. History. He is also the Head Freshman Football Coach and Track and Field "Jumps" Coach. When he is not teaching or coaching, Mr. Bandoch enjoys hiking, running, officiating and playing video games.
