Degrees and Certifications:
Principal Michele Saller
My name is Michele Saller and I have been blessed to be the Principal of Brantner Elementary since its grand opening 4 years ago. I graduated college from Central Michigan University with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. My husband and I moved to south Florida in the fall of 1990 where I began my full time teaching career in Broward County where I taught 4th and 5th graders for 6 years. We then moved to Colorado in the summer of 1996 where I continued to teach elementary but then took a risk and moved to middle school where I spent the next 13 years of my career. I graduated with my Masters degree in Administration from the University of Phoenix in the summer of 2006. I opened Otho E. Stuart Middle School here in School District 27J in the fall of 2009 as the Assistant Principal and was there until the construction of Brantner which began in February of 2012.
I have been happily married for 22 years and have two children, Caleb who is a freshman in college and Kaya who is a freshman in high school. We have gone on tons of great family vacations including traveling all over the western half of the United States but also finding time to spend in Michigan with family. We love playing in and on all of the lakes in MI.
