Proof of Residency
Proof of Residency documents must be dated within the last 60 days. Documents must include the mailing address, service address and name of occupant at the address. A document showing proof of residency is required for any new student, even if other children in the household attend a 27J school.
Acceptable forms of Proof of Residency:
- Home Owners (one original of the following):
- Warranty Deed, Deed of Trust or Bill of Sale
- Purchase Contract with possession date
- Property tax bill from Adams or Weld County
- Homeowner’s insurance bill
- Current Utility bill (both portions-gas, electricity, water, cable or internet)
- Renters/Leasers (One original of the following):
- Current signed lease or rental agreement
- Current utility bill (both portions-gas, electricity, water, cable or internet)
- Renter insurance bill
- If living with another family (both of the following):
- Notarized Co-Resident Registration form
- Proof of address from the Owner (see documents listed under Home owner above)
Examples of unacceptable documents for Proof of Residency
- Cell Phone bill
- Bank Statements, loan statements, loan statements, credit card bills
- Driver’s license
- Car registration
- Pay stubs
- Miscellaneous mail
