Building and Ground Security: ECA

In order to protect its investment in buildings and associated properties, it shall be the policy of the district that:

1. Security shall include access to buildings and grounds; control of keys; safeguards against fire, theft, and vandalism; and secure control of records and funds.
2. Responsibility for the security of each building and its grounds shall be assigned to the chief administrator of the complex with district coordination of safety/security measures the responsibility of the district safety coordinator.
3. The buildings staffs shall cooperate with police, fire, and insurance agencies and coordinate efforts with the district safety coordinator in maintaining safe practices and security. The building administrator shall be responsible for coordinating reports of loss or damages and periodic inspections for security and safety.
