The following represents minimum preventive maintenance procedures of all district facilities:

  1. Weekly inspect boiler rooms, checking compressor, oil levels, belts.
  2. Monthly inspect roofs, checking drains, cracks, debris, skylights.
  3. Monthly inspect fire extinguishers, checking pressure and seals.
  4. Monthly inspect water treatment equipment, checking fittings and filling, if necessary.
  5. Quarterly inspect roof equipment, checking exhaust fans, air handlers, heating units.
  6. Semi-annually inspect hot water circulating pumps, checking oil and couplers.
  7. In winter, check boilers in all buildings on weekends to assure proper operation for the resumption of classes.
