Student Gifts and Solicitations: JP

The Superintendent recognizes the need for clubs, classes or other school organizations to occasionally solicit funds. However, the Superintendent also recognizes the tax burden borne by school patrons and therefore directs each school in the district to use discretion with regard to solicitation activities.

Fundraising should have a specific purpose that is controlled by the building administration. It should be conducted in a professional manner consistent with Superintendent Policy and regulations.
