The school district's transportation program shall be designed to transport eligible students to school and back in an efficient, safe and economical manner.
General responsibility for the transportation system is vested in the transportation supervisor. All other people engaged in the transportation program are responsible to that administrator.
It shall be the duty of the transportation supervisor to provide the superintendent with regular reports and information regarding the efficiency and conduct of the transportation program.
The district shall operate its own fleet of buses and other types of vehicles as needed.
