Supervision of Students: JLIA

During all contact hours that a staff member is on district property and is performing services on behalf of the school district, and while performing such services at school-sponsored activities off district property, the staff member shall be responsible for the control of all students that fall within his/her assigned supervision and to other students physically in his/her presence. Additionally, the assigned staff person shall be responsible for the control of all students during the time they are being transported on the bus when such activities and transportation are under direct school auspices.

Except in emergencies, when special arrangements have been made for additional supervision, parents will be responsible for their child's welfare and supervision at times other than those above.
