Buses

For current bus riders and students currently on the waitlist, registration opens February 11, 2025.  General registration opens March 11, 2025.

Due to high demand and staffing limitations, current bus riders or those who have been on the waitlist prior to open registration, are able to register early. As much as we would love to be able to provide transportation to every eligible student, this is not possible.

Yes. Even if they have ridden the bus in the past, you must register your student annually for bus service.

Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for transportation services:

1. Live within district boundaries.
2. Attend their attendance area school.
3. Live outside of school walk areas (elementary = 1.5 miles, middle = 2 miles, high = 2.5 miles). Area is determined as a circle starting from the center of the school building.

No. Charter schools are not managed by 27J Schools. If you are attending a charter school, there is no home-to-school / school-to-home transportation service.

No. 27J Schools provides transportation services to students living in the district and attending their attendance area school.

1. Check and make sure you meet the criteria for transportation services.

2.   Visit the transportation registration page.

3. Read and sign the transportation contract.  

4. Registration is handled by a third party. For issues such as forgotten credentials, please  

      contact Arbiter Sports at 1-800-311-4060 or support@arbitersports.com.

5.   Once registration is closed, if you need bus services,  you must call transportation at 720-685-7686 to get put on the waitlist. We will respond to messages within 48 hours.

Yes. All students, including siblings and those who have not previously ridden the bus, need to be registered.

If your student will be attending their attendance area school, please visit the transportation registration page. 

If you registered to ride the school bus during the open registration window and have read and signed the ridership contract, route information will be available via a link on the district website.  

Once the registration window closes, please call 720-685-7686 to be put on the waitlist for ridership. Transportation will begin working through the waitlist. When a seat becomes available, you will be contacted and emailed a ridership contract. The contract must be read and signed before a seat can be assigned. Typically, route information is available the week before the start of school. In the case of students on the waitlist, transportation staff will call to provide the route information.

Please fill out the Discontinuation Ridership Form. Doing so ensures that you are no longer charged transportation fees and frees up a seat for a student on the waitlist.
