Family Understandings and Agreements

I understand that:

  • The Family Resource Center is available for families with children actively enrolled in 27J Schools
  • The resources available are limited and I commit to taking only what my family needs.
  • Anything that I chose not to take is made available for other families in need.
  • Food for Hope is an independently funded, non-profit organization with a mission to empower and nourish the future of our community by providing nutritious food to local children.
  • My family will be able to visit the food bank 2 times per month to bring home food items to supplement our regular grocery needs.
  • I should not rely on anything specific from the food pantry as the food available may vary from visit to visit.
  • This is a free program; there is no cost to my family or to the school.
  • A Precious Child provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential.
  • My children will be able to access the clothing center 2 times a school year, once in the fall semester and once in the spring semester.  Personal hygiene products are available to my children on a monthly basis.
  • There is a limit to the items I can get for my children and not all items are guaranteed to be available in my child’s size and preference at the time of my visit.
