- Lakewood High School
Ms. Leslie BacaOffice ManagerI am excited to be joining the Riverdale Ridge High School Staff! I decided to start a new adventure by moving from elementary to high school. I love and enjoy seeing students and families start their educational journey in Kindergarten, and I now will experience the other side of that journey with graduation. I love the community that I have been blessed to work with at West Ridge and Brantner Elementary, and can't wait to see them again at Riverdale Ridge!I have worked in School District 27J for the last 10 years. Riverdale Ridge will be the third school I will assist in opening in 27J. I helped open West Ridge Elementary as the registrar, Brantner Elementary Phase I and Phase II as the Office Manager. I love each of those buildings and already feel the same about Riverdale Ridge.Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and traveling. I especially love to travel to San Diego, where my daughter attends San Diego State University.
Ms. Carrie Romero
I am very thrilled to be part of the Riverdale Ridge community as I am a native of Colorado and have lived in the RRHS area for 15 years with my husband and two children. I love getting involved and working with students and their families and cannot wait to share this at RRHS.
I worked at a bank for 16 years where I learned my finance background. I then was a stay at home mom and came back into the workforce and joined District 27J where I have been for the past 6 ½ years, starting at West Ridge Elementary in the After School Program then moving to Prairie View High School working as the Front Office Secretary and then as the Finance Secretary.
I appreciate time with my family, my husband of 27 years, my daughter who attends Regis University, my son who is currently at Prairie View Middle School, and our dog, Minnie! We love to go camping, boating, travel, enjoy sporting events and spending time with our family and friends.
Ms. Kerry Korneychuk
Kerry Korneychuk is very happy to be a part of the dynamic team of teachers, administrators, staff and coaches at Riverdale Ridge High School. She thoroughly enjoys playing a role in the success of student athletes, both on and off the field! Being part of the athletic department was a big switch for her from her previous job at Brantner Elementary where she worked as the health para/office para for 6 years. She feels very fortunate to continue to be a part of this community and the families we serve. Prior to being part of the original team that opened Brantner, she started her career in 27J Schools in the preschool department at Turnberry Elementary.
Prior to education, she was a nurse from 1995-2005 before leaving the workforce to be a stay at home mom to her two daughters, Jodi (RRHS class of 2021) and Sidney (current QMS student and future RRHS class of 2024). When she is not at her desk, she loves spending time at RRHS sports events as well as Broncos and Rockies games. She also enjoys camping and boating with her husband, CJ, her daughters and her family and friends.
