  • Board of Education recognizes Reaching Out "Apprentice" Award recipients

Everyone who has started a position or occupation begins as an Apprentice. That person usually has the knowledge of a subject, but actually learning the skills of the trade and the work environment is a new learning curve for that individual. Learning those subtle proficiencies that are needed to complete a project or interact with other people or students. The apprentice has learned from the master therefore can use those learned skills in other projects that will come in the future of the apprentice.

With 27J’s “construction” theme for this school-year’s Reaching Out Awards, the Board of Education recognized employees who are new to the district or new to a different job position since July 1, 2017.
