27J Welcome Center Grand Opening

We BELIEVE in creating a sense of belonging and improving our families' education experiences.

The 27J community recently celebrated the opening of the 27J Welcome Center, a place where any new families, including non-English speakers, can get help with getting their child in school and signed up for whatever school support services they need. The center is located at Henderson Elementary.

At the celebration, senior Madissyn Unrein from Riverdale Ridge High School and fifth grader Aliyah Hart from West Ridge Elementary were recognized as winners of a diversity and equity art contest. Their artwork is hanging in the Welcome Center.

The continued efforts to meet the needs of all 27J families is just one more #ReasontoBelieve. #IBelievein27JSchools
