27J Schools is proud to recognize eight graduating seniors who have worked diligently to receive the prestigious Seal of Biliteracy.
The Seal of Biliteracy is a credential that recognizes students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. A seal of biliteracy encourages students to pursue biliteracy skills that are attractive to future employers and college admissions.
“The acquisition of multiple languages provides our students with professional and career advantages associated with increased job opportunities,” said 27J Instructional Specialist Lucia Gonzales. “These students now have the skills necessary to play an influential role in our global society and we could not be more proud of their accomplishment.”
Congratulations to Brighton High students: Isaias Aguirre, Nayeli Aguirre, Brianna Diaz, Daniela Moler, Leonardo Quinteros, Stephanie Rios Martinez, and Joel Zavala Aguilera. Prairie View student, Manuel Marquez Avalos, also earned the Seal of Biliteracy. Students will be provided with a green graduation honor cord symbolizing their accomplishment.
