Krista Dean named new principal of Stuart Middle School

Krista Dean has been named the new principal of Stuart Middle School by 27J Schools.

Krista brings a wide skill set to Stuart including having served in that school as a language arts teacher, a social studies teacher, a reading intervention teacher and an instructional coach. She’s been a support to students and staff in various roles and this has helped shape her leadership perspective.

“I have been part of every single chapter of Stuart Middle School, and I am so honored to be a part of the next chapter,” Krista said. “It is such an honor to be a part of this amazing school and community.”

Krista earned her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She went on to the University of Colorado at Denver, where she earned her masters degree in curriculum and instruction. She also earned another endorsement in educational leadership from Regis University in 2017.

Krista assumes her new role July 1, 2021.

“I am looking forward to creating the next best version of Stuart with our staff, students, and community,” she added.
