PVMS Tiger News

April 27, 2021

Holy moly, where did April go? I want to start by thanking our families and parents for all their help and flexibility in completing state testing this year. We are in our final week of make-up testing and hope to be completed by this Friday. We appreciate your efforts in helping us get this completed and for encouraging your students to do their best.

Interview Updates:

The teacher hiring season is underway and we have been busy at PVMS trying to find staff that align with our core values and meet our high expectations of teachers. This year we have included 7th grade students as part of the interview process. The students created their own student perspective questions and look-fors and conducted a portion of the interviews. With their help, we have hired two amazing math teachers, an English teacher, and a science teacher. Including student voice in this process will make us better moving forward! Here is a picture of our students at work!
