PVMS Tiger Tuesday News 1/3/22

Hello PVMS Families & Community,

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable holiday season. We are so excited to be starting a new semester with our Tigers.

Our priority is always the safety of our students and staff. We want everyone to be healthy and in school learning each day. As we see a rapid increase in COVID cases as a result of the very contagious Omicron variant, we ask for your help with two major things to ensure everyone’s safety.

Masks: Please talk to your students about wearing masks properly while at school. We are struggling to get a lot of students to put their masks over their nose and it has been frustrating for staff to have to give so many reminders when our focus should be on teaching and learning. We want all individuals to feel safe and respected while at PVMS, and all of us wearing a mask correctly is an important part of that.
Communication: If your Tiger has signs/symptoms of illness, has received a COVID-19 test and is awaiting results, or has had a positive COVID-19 test in the last 14 days you should fill out this form. Each form is school specific.  Please keep your child home until you have heard from your school via email or phone call.

PVMS is not responsible for lost or stolen electronic items (phones, earbuds, gaming systems etc. Students are not supposed to have these items at school as they are not conducive to the learning environment. We will use our redirect process as well as contact home if electronic devices are confiscated by our staff. Parents and or guardians will be asked to come to PVMS and retrieve the phone/earbuds etc.

Please remind your TIGER that they are not to have these items at PVMS.
