Hello Thunderhawks,

We have an exciting new program coming to PVHS and 27J.  For the first time ever we will now have a JROTC program in our district.  This has been a goal of PVHS for many years and next year will be the inaugural year of the program.  This is one the 3E's (Enrollment, Employment, Enlistment) that our students have as an option and if they decide to enlist this will give them a huge advantage before they are in the military.  One year of being in JROTC will allow them to receive a pay bump and an increased enlistment status.  This also is an advantage to our students who are interested in any service academies for their university experience.  Even if they do not want to be in the military this still is an excellent program to promote leadership and service towards our Global Goal of GOOD HUMANS. If your student is interested in the program please have them communicate with their Advisory teacher and their Counselor.   Thank you for your support and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
