27J preschoolers enjoyed winter parties and putting on holiday performances on Dec. 20, which was the last day of preschool prior to their Winter Break. At Brantner Elementary School, preschool classes held holiday parties with songs, games, snacks and crafts.

In Ms. Karen Dorgan's classroom, preschoolers made candy cane bead crafts, decorated graham crackers with icing and sprinkles and sang songs about snowflakes and snowmen. In Ms. DJ Brown's preschool classroom, children sang songs including "Jingle Bells," played the game of tape the carrot nose on the snowman and ate snacks.

At the Brighton Learning Resource Center preschool, children presented holiday shows for their families. The kids sang traditional holiday favorites including "We wish you a Merry Christmas." Both morning and afternoon preschool classes gave performances.
