Here are some quotes from the Brighton Heritage Academy graduates.
From graduate Lew Ryan Julian: "We're finally high school graduates! High school pushes us to be who we really are. It shows you what topics you're good at. I would like to thank all the teachers for getting me where I am right now. With all the help of my teachers and friends, I'm finally where I am today -- a high school graduate."From graduate Alexandria DeBerg: "Coming to Heritage Academy was a last-ditch effort, a hope that maybe, just maybe, I would be able to graduate on time. I couldn't tell you what actually shifted and made me do my work. Maybe it was the realization that, no really, this was my last chance. But here I stand today, graduating an entire semester early."From graduate Carlos Ramos: "We made it. I believe that with the right help and motivation, anyone can accomplish anything. For me that help and motivation came from the people I can comfortably and proudly call my family. First, I want to thank my mom. I would also like to thank my brother. Lastly, I would like to thank my friends. We all may not be in the same place or in the same situation, but the point is to never give up."From graduate Violetta Garcia: "I would like to thank my family, especially my mom who has always pushed me and never let me quit. A huge thank you to my friends and teachers for always believing in me and reminding me that you're never too old to dream."From graduate Aleja Morones:"I never thought I would be able to say I am a graduate from high school. I walked into this school for the very first time and from then on, my life was changed forever. Throughout the years, I've had my ups and downs and when I had these downs, I always had someone's help. People that have been here for me have helped me accept that mistakes are only lessons not learned until now."From graduate Justin Toledo: "I am proud to announce that I will be graduating from Brighton Heritage Academy this year. From my time at Brighton Heritage, I learned it's okay to fail, as long as you keep picking yourself back up. I learned you must always know you can, and hard work will always pay off in the end. I also learned to find your passion. You must take initiative and follow your heart."
From graduate Kanyon Bennett: "I ended up taking a different route than most kids, but we all ended up here, even though we took different roads! My biggest supporter was my beautiful grandmother who pushed me to have faith in myself. I would like to thank my family. I'll never forget who stood by my side."
