Denver Nuggets come to Prairie View Middle School

Former Denver Nuggets professional basketball players visited Prairie View Middle School on Dec. 22 to watch a very special basketball game. The undefeated Prairie View Middle School Eighth Grade Boy's Basketball team played PVMS teachers, staff and the principal in their own basketball game. Teachers and staff won the game against the 8th graders with a score of 18-17.

Denver Nuggets players were at the school to motivate students to always do their best. Former Nuggets Walter Davis-- he also won a medal for basketball in the 1976 Olympics, Mark Randall and Ervin Johnson visited PVMS for their sports assembly.

The same evening at Vikan Middle School, the championship game for the 8th grade boy's basketball was scheduled. Prairie View played Vikan for the title.

 The winner of the championship game was Prairie View Middle School.
