Prairie View High Homecoming Week

Spirit week includes Decades dress from the 1990s and 1980s.

 

Prairie View High Assistant Principals Michael Burke and Shelly Valerio rock Homecoming Spirit Week for Decades Day on Thursday. Burke is wearing his 1997 Holy Family High School letterman jacket and Valerio is wearing an AC DC rock concert T-shirt from the 90-91 World Tour.

Prairie View High students dress for the Decades during Spirit Week. They represent the 1970s with tie-dye, the 1950s with leather and letterman jackets and white T-shirts.

 

The 1970s look was in at PVHS for Decades Day.

 

Bell bottoms, tie-dye shirts and mini skirts represented the 1970s for Decades Day as part of Spirit Week dress up at PVHS.

These students represent the colorful 1980s, the peace movement from the 1960s and the 1970s.

 

Prairie View High School’s Homecoming week festivities continue tonight with a Homecoming football game against Northglenn High School in the PVHS stadium at 7 p.m. Royalty will be announced at halftime.

 

On Saturday, Sept. 22, a Homecoming Dance with the theme “A trip around the world” will be in the Prairie View High gym.
